History
- The team was originally located in Daejeon and was sponsored by the Oriental Brewing Company, hence the name "OB Bears".
- In 1985, the OB Bears moved from Daejeon to Seoul.
- The team changed sponsors in 1999 and became the "Doosan Bears".
- They won the very first Korean Series championship in 1982, and again in 1995 and 2001.
- Retired numbers: 21 (pitcher Park Chul-soon, nicknamed "Phoenix") and 54 (catcher Kim Young-shin).

- #40 Dustin Nippert (nicknamed "Ninoonim") is an American who has been on the team since March 2011. He is a right-handed pitcher.
- #19 Anthony Swarzak is an American who has been on the team since July 2015. He is a right-handed pitcher. Swarzak replaced Cuban pitcher Yunesky Maya mid-season.
- #3 Deibinson Romero is a Dominican who has been on the team since July 2015. He is an infielder who is a right-handed batter and thrower. Romero replaced American infielder Zach Lutz mid-season.
